Battery lawnmower reviews
Battery (cordless) lawnmowers are convenient for smaller yards – you don’t need to store petrol, and most of them are very capable performers.
Our expert testers put battery lawnmowers, including catcher and mulcher models, through their paces on short, medium-length and long grass to find out which ones are:
- best for mowing
- best for mulching (for mowers with this option)
- easiest to use.
Some mower and battery bundles in our test are no longer available. But most of these mowers are still sold as a standalone product (aka skin) with one or no batteries. If a retailer/manufacturer is advertising a lower RRP, it’s likely a skin only model with one or no batteries included. Batteries are still available separately.
