Consumer Action Law Centre led a joint consumer submission alongside CHOICE, Consumer Credit Legal Service (WA) Inc, Financial Counselling Australia and the Financial Rights Legal Centre calling on the government to establish a compensation scheme of last resort. Consumer groups strongly support the introduction of a well-funded scheme with broad coverage.
