- Obvious gluten free shape unlike traditional bun as it's wider, flater with cracked surface and unfinished cross. Toasted is better than untoasted.
- Looks like a hockey puck with thin wonky cross.
- Minimal fruit in untoasted bun but lots of fruit in toasted bun, so uneven among buns in pack.
- Aroma is slightly yeasty with not much spice. Texture is spongy, dry and gritty. Flavour is bland.
- Sandy, strong texture, fruits very clumpy. Cross not great visually. Good for a gluten free alternative. Toasted flavour would be great with butter.
